Speaker: Prof. Michael Burton
Due to personal reasons, the original speaker, Prof. James Jackson, was unable to give the public presentation. Prof. Michael Burton kindly offered to give a presentation on "Stardust: the Stuff of Life", essentially an overview of star formation in the galaxy.
Michael’s primary research revolves around Star Formation and Molecular Clouds. He is also heavily involved with the development of Antarctic astronomy. Michael is also an undergraduate lecturer in physics and astronomy.
