Self-care is helpful if you're feeling stressed, having trouble organising your time or feeling overwhelmed balancing things in your life. The biggest thing: it is personal! Your approach will be different to your friends because we all have different needs, strengths, skills and interests.
Debbie Swibel from Mental Health Management and Marion Pozniak from Jarrah House will be running a webinar to introduce the idea of self-awareness, the Window of Tolerance, and will explore strategies for self-care.
Debbie is a lead trainer at Lifeline, a trained suicidologist, criminologist, psychotherapist and counselor. Marion is an expert in neuroscience informed practice and drug and alcohol counselling.
